Doritos Locos y Flores: a still-life series (bonus!)
 
With the very anticipated return of the Mexican Pizza, I thought it only appropriate to make a new addition to the Doritos Locos y Flores series. It started as a series of 3 during quarantine as a sister collaboration to create Taco Bell Dutch masters inspired drawings. We combined my LOVE for my favorite fast-food chain, Taco Bell, with my sister's, Kristen Usui, floral arrangements - an inital sketch, watercolor wash, and hours upon hours of colored pencil. Ships flat in a rigid envelope protected by chipboard/corrugated cardboard and a cellophane sleeve.
